Working

A new website and a fresh round of campaigns for That Particular Breed. Hands-on across strategy, brand, and the build itself.

This site is the other half. The last two weeks rebuilt it from a placeholder into a real portfolio: a dozen new case studies, every existing one refreshed, the writing scrubbed of everything that sounded like a corporate template, and a back-of-house pass on analytics, session recording, and admin tools so I can keep editing without leaving my browser.

Making

Everything Speaks, a new every-other-week letter. Eleven sections per issue: a literary opener, what I'm working on, one rule of being a designer pulled from a growing list, a date in design history, a designer worth knowing, sites worth seeing, the studio update, a designer provocation, useful music straight from my Spotify, the Broadway Oracle, and an Elder Futhark rune. Issue Zero is up; Issue One lands at the end of the month.

Howrey Script went from a one-page case study to a full typeface microsite this week. Live type tester, full glyph grid, auto-cycling specimens, scrolling marquees. Free under the SIL Open Font License. Download it and make something.

The Broadway Oracle deck, 100 cards pairing a Broadway musical with a piece of advice drawn from the show, is now fully integrated into the site and feeds the newsletter's Oracle section.
